If you have an older sibling or a parent or friend who often talks about college (or you've already taken college), then you'll probably think ROTC stands for Reserve Officers' Training Corps, somewhat the college version of the CAT or Citizens Army Traning for High School.

I called this site ROTC (areohteesee) or ROad To College because I needed a place where I could write about my thoughts for college. This journal will actually be my little road to college where I can figure out what course I want to take (or well at least get some ideas down on what I think about certain course) or where I'd like to apply. There's a few more years to go before I start applying to colleges but I'd like to get some thinking done already. I'd love to have Plan B's and Plan C's because I really don't know what'll happen after I send in my applications.

This site is where I'm really just going to write my thoughts on college so sometimes it may not make much sense or it may seem unlikely but really, I'm just trrying to figure out my thoughts before senior year comes. I'd love comments or your own ideas as long as they're not like "HAHAHA SERIOUSLY ERICA YOU WANT TO BE A SINGER?! YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS!" cause then I'll feel bad and won't want to post my ideas anymore. (But no, I don't want to be a singer.)

Actually, there's a real reason why I called it ROTC. AC, our highschool, does not have CAT and in my confusion (cause when my brother graduated highschool, I was still a 3rd grader and didn't really remember much of his school) I mistook CAT as something for college and ROTC for highschool. Basically, me being a corny person wanted to make up this whole joke to introduce my site : AC doesn't have ROTC so I decided to have my own! But well I found out CAT was for HS and ROTC was for college so... no more joke. Well, the name stuck and I'll keep it that way.

This is my ROad To College. :)
